Football Season is right around the corner, let's enjoy it!

Reader, The football season is in full swing, with the NFL in training camp, colleges holding media days, and high school teams preparing for their camps. Your feedback from the survey I sent out a couple months ago has been instrumental in influencing the future direction of my content. I have revised my schedule according to your suggestions, resulting in a revitalized sense of purpose.

On a personal note...

After careful consideration, my family and I have decided to establish our permanent residence in Shadyside, Ohio. Following a period of caring for my late father (He passed away 1-year ago today), our son Eli's strong attachment to the community has prompted us to buy a home by the Ohio River in my hometown. We are excited to embrace the simplicity of small-town living.

With over three decades of experience in football, I am enthusiastic about supporting my coaching peers, revisiting past coaching experiences through various media platforms, and attending games to cheer on the Shadyside Tigers on Friday nights. Balancing family time and online connections after dedicating much of my life to football is now a priority for me. Additionally, I am honored to serve on the board of directors at my Church—a role that carries great personal meaning for me.

Here's the results of the survey...

Based on audience surveys, here are the topics ranked by interest:

  1. Clinic talks focusing on the Triple Shoot Offense
  2. Incorporating elements of TSO into your strategies
  3. Addressing challenges and solutions related to the Run and Shoot Offense
  4. Insights into leading a coaching lifestyle tailored to your needs
  5. Exploring historical perspectives within football
  6. Conversations with football coaches
  7. Innovative concepts beneficial for football programs and personal life
  8. Advancing your career in football

Your feedback is crucial as I strive to customize content according to your preferences. Given the strong interest in the offense, I have spent six weeks going through my extensive video collection, including clinic footage, in preparation for launching the Triple Shoot All Access program.

During system testing, a coach from Iowa City unexpectedly signed up prior to the official launch—a positive sign indicating early interest in TSO content delivery.

"After I was alerted that a coach subscribed to the All Access pass I was fortunate to have a conversation with him the next day. He mentioned that he had been reviewing the material and it was really enjoyable. In fact, he said that he had been waiting quite a while for something like this and I enjoyed his feedback."

Furthermore, I recently penned an article celebrating Randy Gradishar’s induction into the Professional Football Hall of Fame this weekend in Canton, Ohio—a tribute to my favorite Ohio State Buckeye player from my childhood.

Feed your mind with good stuff...

Here's five books I have read recently:

Here are three videos I have watched recently...

  2. Top 3 Tips that changed my life forever by Kevin O'Leary
  3. Becoming Highly Effective and Productive with Jordan Peterson

One last thing before I go...

If you aren't a fan of Steven Pressfield you should be. I recently purchased his book, The Daily Pressfield and I love it, in fact, I ordered the Limited Edition Autographed version gift box! The Daily Pressfield is 365 kicks-in-the-butt or pats-on-the-back from the million-selling author of The War of Art and Turning Pro.

Enjoy the weekend

Yours truly,

Manny Matsakis
