Issue #29|Mike Leach

Issue #29

Reader, I hope all is well with you this holiday season. This past week has been a difficult one for myself and many others that were close to Mike Leach. When I first heard the news I was in disbelief and denied that this could happen to a good friend that was only 61 years old and in his coaching prime.

I am appreciative all all those heartfelt messages sent my way from guys that knew our connection to those exciting years in Lubbock, Texas. Today's newsletter will be brief with only one topic: Mike Leach.

Here's what I've put together for you this week...

  1. Cody Campbell was part of our first recruiting class at Texas Tech. He has gone on to be a highly successful businessman in the energy field. He wrote an outstanding tribute to his coach that brought back some poignant memories of Mike. To read his article CLICK HERE.
  2. If you haven't seen the tribute that MSU boosters have put together on a national scale I would check this out. To read about an incredible gesture regarding Mike, CLICK HERE.
  3. I was able to speak to my friend Lynn Groll from Black Swamp Football Podcast about Mike. To listen to that interview CLICK HERE.
