2nd Quarter: Online Insight (Something to think about)

Gabrielle Bosche gives you insight on how she plans her 2023 year in advance. (There's always a pathway to success that we can apply from others even if they are not in our profession)

How I’m planning my 2023 in advance.⁣ ⁣

I thought it may be helpful to share how I am planning ahead for 2023. I usually spend the week between Christmas and New Years reflecting on the previous year and setting my intention and measurable goals for the year ahead. We’re moving that week so I am starting a bit early this year.⁣ ⁣

1. I reflect on 3 highlights or big moments from the year that’s wrapping up. This could be personal or professional. For me, it was spending my birthday weekend with my family and closest friends in Napa, hitting our first $250,000 month, and going on my dream vacation to Italy. Then I write next to each highlight why it was a highlight. It could be because it represented working hard for something or it was a special memory.⁣ ⁣

2. I manifest what 3 moments or highlights I want to happen in this coming year. For me, this includes hitting our first $500,000 month – and then our first $100,000,000 month. It also includes our TEDx hitting 1,000,000 views (we’re at 500,000 now), and going on a big fabulous vacation with my friends in July. Next to each of those goals I write why I want to achieve or experience it. What it will mean to me and how special it will feel.⁣ ⁣

3. I pick a word for the year. Last year was Accelerate. I went fast and hard on nearly everything. I achieved so much and I’m proud of me and what my team accomplished. This year, it is As If. I know it’s two words LOL – but I am using one of my favorite phrases my word. “Act as if…” Instead of waiting to change when things change, I start the change with myself. I am going to be acting as if we’re a $10 mil/ yr business. Acting as if I have the influence that I want. Acting as if I have the relationships that I want.⁣ I also do other practical things like having quarterly projections, one goal per month, and scheduling my vacations, retreats, and time off so I keep my energy up.⁣

How can you apply this specifically to what you want to create in the future?

Halftime: Focus on Breakthroughs

Breakthroughs come when we apply just the right amount of profound knowledge to achieve a successful solution taking our performance to the next level. These breakthroughs come in various areas of our life ranging from motivation, to productivity and most importantly to our mental health and physical wellness just to name a few.

Today's Insight comes in the area of the Book You Must Buy NOW!

If you're like most people, you want to lead a life of meaning and significance, joy and satisfaction.

But all the drama and demands we face seem to get in the way of our dreams, don't they? We're unsure about how to take our lives from where we are now to where we want to be in the next five, ten, or even fifty years.

We know we were meant for more, but it seems like the days are slipping by and we can't do anything about it. It shouldn't be like this. And it doesn't have to be.

New York Times best selling author Michael Hyatt and executive coach Daniel Harkavy have both lived the very same story - but they rewrote the ending. And their book Living Forward will help you do the same thing.

In this step-by-step guide, Hyatt and Harkavy share simple but proven principles to help you stop drifting, design a Life Plan with the end in mind, and chart a path that will take you there. And you can work the process in just one day.

Imagine trading just 24 hours for the life you really want. It's possible, and Living Forward shows you how!

4th Quarter: Football Clinic with Brian Billick

Years ago when I started American Football Quarterly University we had some legendary speakers and one of them was Brian Billick. At the time he was the Offensive Coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings and of course he went on to win a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens. Brian was known as a great game planner and I have attached a video of him talking about that particular concept.

Issue #29 Reader, I hope all is well with you this holiday season. This past week has been a difficult one for myself and many others that were close to Mike Leach. When I first heard the news I was in disbelief and denied that this could happen to a good friend that was only 61 years old and in his coaching prime. I am appreciative all all those heartfelt messages sent my way from guys that knew our connection to those exciting years in Lubbock, Texas. Today's newsletter will be brief with...
